The new Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x is an ideal match for 6x6 Hasselblad V lenses since they can now be fully utilized as they were originally designed when mounted to the Fuji GFX. Unlike 35mm format lenses used on the Fuji GFX via glassless adapters, Hasselblad V lenses adapted to the GFX via the Speed Booster Ultra are completely free of disturbing vignetting and other corner issues.
In addition to increasing the field of view and lens speed, the new Speed Booster Ultra achieves superb performance by being carefully matched to the unique optical characteristics of the Hasselblad V lenses. All of the Hasselblad V lenses were analyzed for exit pupil size and location, and this was fully taken into account in the new Speed Booster Ultra for the Fuji GFX. This approach dictated the use of extremely large lens elements throughout in order to avoid vignetting and maintain high-quality imagery into the corners, but the results speak for themselves.
Like all Metabones Speed Boosters, the Hasselblad-V to GFX Speed Booster Ultra is optimized to fully account for the camera’s filter stack located near the sensor surface. This is especially critical when using high-speed optics like the 110mm f/2, which becomes a high-performance 78mm f/1.4.
In addition to superb optical performance, the Hasselblad-V to GFX Speed Booster Ultra is equipped with an extremely robust cine-style positive locking mechanism to ensure that no play occurs during focusing. This is especially important when using Hasselblad V lenses for cine work because even though they provide a very smooth focus movement, they tend to require more torque than lesser lenses. The new Ultra also includes a very sturdy 360-degree rotation collar and extra length Arca Swiss style tripod mounting plate.

Baseline 15mm LW (RED V-Raptor Baseplate) is a baseplate that holds 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the center of the lens.ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom attaches to the included Baseline ARRI Dovetail or other ARRI standard dovetails using a top-load locking mechanism. Loosen the thumbscrew and push the silver button on the operator's side to release the baseplate from the ARRI dovetail. To reattach, drop down and listen for the pop to know it has engaged. Adjust the position on the ARRI dovetail, then lock the ratcheting thumbscrew.
Baseline ARRI Dovetail is the included lower ARRI mounting plate which can attach to tripod plates using 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screws or ARRI standard bridgeplates with centered or offset screw spacing.
ARCA dovetail slot on top holds the included ARCA Dovetail and can be top-loaded, or installed from the back by sliding in. When sliding in from the back, a safety pin will engage with a pop when properly installed. Adjust the position, then lock the ratcheting thumbscrew. Top-loading can be achieved by loosening the thumbscrew, pulling out on the ratcheting knob, and turning the thumbscrew until ARCA clamp has opened fully. Reverse the process to tighten.
Center screw slot on ARCA Dovetail accepts 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting screws, and a vertical rod hole clamps included 1/4-20 lens support posts for adaptors like Metabones, etc.
Rod Bracket (15mm LW) (sold separately) can be attached to the back of the baseplate for rear 15mm LW rod support.

For example, the C80 uses approximately 1.8A at 14V so when using a 10A capable battery, the remaining 8.2A is allocated for accessory use. If an accessory configuration exceeds the 8.2A limit, accessory power is cut off, leaving the camera powered.
